Come and enjoy a relaxed and social art experience

At the Painter’s Palate, join well-known Albany artists and immerse yourself in the country and period of famous artists, learning various painting techniques they’re known for.

The wine, food and music provided at each workshop reflects the country and time period of each artist whose technique is being explored. For example, learn about
and practice Matisse’s colourist techniques as a leading Impressionist

Each workshop runs for 3 hours and is designed to be a fun, social and artistic experience suitable for all skill levels. 

All materials are provided and you get to take your creation home.


Workshops are held at:

King River Hall – 1520 Millbrook Rd, King River (off Chester Pass Rd)

Or at

Denmark Arts, 2A Strickland St Denmark (next to Denmark CRC)



Includes drinks, food and all materials

For the Senses

2 drinks of your choice (beer, wine, sparkling as well as alcohol-free options). Chilled water, tea and coffee will also be available on request.

Food that fits with the featured artist will be provided and along with drinks, comply with Covid requirements and Responsible Service of Alcohol.

Come and join us to create your own version of nature just like Claude Monet loved to paint.

Frida Kahlo

Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter known for her colourful self portraits and works inspired by nature and artifacts of Mexico. Often described as a surrealist using flowers, fruit and monkeys!!
